Holding the Moment, Making Room for Joy 🙏🏼
|
Hello Reader, It’s been a few weeks since I last wrote. February arrived quietly, with a weight many of us can feel. There is a lot being carried right now, here in my home of Minnesota, across the United States, and around the world. Yoga is often described as a practice of liberation and union. Care for ourselves matters deeply, and so does staying awake to the world we’re part of. Yoga invites self-discovery and awareness, not so we can retreat from what’s happening, but so we can meet it with steadiness, discernment, and care. And joy still belongs here, too. A few months ago, during lighter times, I planned a playful workshop to bring some color to winter days. My hope now is that it offers a moment of creativity, connection, and relief for those able to join. February Workshop Midwinter Bloom: Playful Movement & Colorful Meditations A small pocket of color and play to soften the heaviness of the season. We’ll move gently, imagine freely, and reconnect with the quiet spark that often dims during winter. You can view the full February workshop schedule here: Looking Ahead: Return to Radiance This spring, I’ll be opening Return to Radiance, a six-week program for those who want more continuity and shared exploration around rest, self-compassion, boundaries, clarity, and purpose through the lens of yogic philosophy. Return to Radiance is about re-illumination. Not forcing change, just letting what’s already there become more visible again through embodied practices, gentle movement, reflective writing, and music. I’ll be sharing more soon.
